2013 San Francisco Flower & Garden Show

The annual San Francisco Flower & Garden Show is third largest flower and garden show of its kind in the US. Held over the course of five days, this one of a kind event ushers in Spring for landscape professionals and Bay Area gardeners by featuring 18 unique display gardens created by top West Coast garden designers. The exhibiting gardens have been inspired by this year’s international theme “Gardens Make the World Go Round.”

The San Francisco Flower & Garden Show takes place Wednesday through Sunday, March 20-24, 2013 at the San Mateo Event Center. Show hours are Wednesday, March 20 through Saturday March 23rd from 10am to 7pm and Sunday March 24th from 10am to 6pm.
Some of the upcoming highlights of this year’s event include:

  • A juried exhibition of creative and inspirational garden design at its best
  • Leading garden designers, nurseries and horticulturalists sharing new ideas, green techniques and inspiration
  • A large organic edible garden display
  • Small space gardens that celebrate the garden-to-table movement
  • Over 70 workshops and seminars on green topics and new landscape techniques
  • An expanded marketplace to purchase plants, orchids, seeds, tools and unique outdoor items and crafts from over 300 vendors

Pacific Nurseries is co-sponsoring the 2013 show and will be attending the Deadheader’s Garden Gala celebration of the event. Please join us and celebrate this annual tradition with wine, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment by the Sycamore Slough String Band and singers from the San Francisco Opera on Tuesday night, March 19, 2013 from 6 to 9PM in the San Mateo Event Center.

Advance tickets for attending the Deadheader’s Garden Gala are $100 per person and include an all-access pass to the SF Flower & Garden Show with unlimited access to the show on any day between March 20-24. Tickets at the door for the Deadheader’s Garden Gala are $125. All proceeds support the show and the event.
