Woodwardia fimbriata is a large evergreen fern with a clumping habit. It features fronds that are deep green, leathery, and arching. Pinnae are divided into a fishbone pattern. The reproductive sori develop in a chain-like pattern on the undersides of pinnae. This beautiful fern is native to western North America, including California.
