Romneya coulteri is an extremely attractive perennial that produces amazing “fried egg” flower blossoms with 7″ wide, white flowers and yellow centers. The showy floral display is a magnet for pollinators and contrasts with soft gray foliage. It requires patience to get started but once it becomes established, it will run underground to form dense stands. This aggressive spread may need to be controlled to prevent expansion into undesired areas. A stunning CA Native plant, it is an excellent choice for Bay Area landscapes.
