Crassula ovata is a many-branching succulent shrub that features thick stems that hold 3″ long glossy-green, obovate leaves. A thin margin of red outlines the tips of the leavers. White, star-like flowers appear in clusters within the foliage in late winter into spring. This handsome succulent performs best in part sun and is summer-dry tolerant. It is an excellent choice for both outdoor and indoor locations and works well in rock and coastal gardens.
