Acer palmatum ‘Bloodgood’ is a large, bushy deciduous shrub + tree that features deep red-purple leaves with 5-7 slender-pointed lobes. As an easy-to-care-for and elegant tree originating from Japan, this Acer is an excellent choice to consider for borders and along ornamental paths because the root system is compact and not invasive.
