Hydrangea quercifolia is a beautiful deciduous shrub that features deeply-lobed, oak-leaf-shaped, dark green leaves. This distinctive foliage dramatically changes colors ranging from orange to crimson in the fall season. Conical clusters of white flowers appear in spring on previous year’s growth. This award-winning, handsome plant performs best in dappled shade with a well-drained, acidic soil. It can also grow to 8′ tall.
