Senecio candidans ‘Angel Wings’ is an evergreen perennial featuring dramatic foliage with multiple levels of bright, broad, heart-shaped leaves with small, blunt indentations along the undulating leaf margins. The velvety, light-colored texture leaf surface is covered in dense short hairs. It grows in a rosette form with yellow flowers appearing in the center during summer. It prefers cool, coastal sun, part sun, and well-drained soil. This beautiful plant also appreciates regular water and can tolerate summer-dry periods. Consider this plant for excellent contrast with other green or darker plants in Bay Area landscapes.
