Empty plant container: We’ll take it!

Plant Container Recycling at Pacific Nurseries

Every plant needed for an installation comes in a nursery container. And once that plant is installed in the ground, the container is was delivered in has the potential to become discarded garbage or landfill.

To make your job easier and to ensure that we’re all supporting the best green practices, we’re ready to take all of your empty plant containers and make them part of our Container Recycling Program.

That’s right, we recycle or reuse over 200,000 plant containers a month. That represents over 2 million containers a year! So bring your empty plant containers to our Colma Sales Office and Growing Grounds and we’ll take them for free. It’s our way of ensuring that we’ll all be making the Bay area greener after every plant goes in the ground.

Do you have any suggestions on how we can continue to help you, and the planet, succeed with additional green practices? Share your comments or send us an email. We value your input and will consider all suggestions.

    Great program!
I hate the idea of throwing plant containers in the dump.
I’m planning on bringing you my used containers.
